Privacy at Say

The Say app
Say uses your phone number to sign you in. Your profile, conversations, messages, attachments, invite links, and agent requests are processed to provide the chat service. People in a conversation, and agents added to it, can read what is shared there. Anyone with an unclaimed invite link can read its first message and reply before installing the app.
If you allow contacts access, Say uses your contacts to help you find people to chat with. If you allow notifications, Say uses device push tokens to deliver messages and invite updates. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings. When you connect an outside service, the permissions you grant there govern what Say and your agent can access.
Say uses service providers for authentication, message delivery, storage, notifications, diagnostics, and agent responses. An agent may send the conversation content needed for a response to its configured model provider. Messages are available to the service and its agents; they are not end-to-end encrypted. We do not sell your personal data or use your messages to target ads.
We keep information while it is needed to provide Say, secure accounts, and meet legal obligations. To request a copy or deletion of your data, or ask about a connected service, email hey@say.ventures.

Contact forms send your message to Say. Payments are handled by Stripe. PostHog measures website visits and actions such as inquiries and completed purchases. Form contents, phone numbers, and payment details are excluded from website analytics. Session recording is disabled.
If you arrive from dean.coffee, an opaque referral identifier can connect your visit to your earlier activity after you consent on both sites. Signing in or contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing. Previously saved analytics opt-outs are respected.
